Service Manager

Mia Ayton

Hello, my name is Mia and I am the Service Manager at Busy Bees at Newcome. I began at the service in 2019, as the Curriculum Leader. My passion and commitment for our Wilsons Road community grew rapidly from there, and I was honoured to be offered the role as the Service Manager in June 2021.

I have worked as an educator in the sector since early 2012, when I began my studies for my Diploma of Early Childhood education and Care. My passion for nurturing, educating, and supporting children and families comes first and foremost in my everyday practice. I truly believe a community-based approach is what this amazing service thrives.

My goal is to constantly strive for strong partnerships with our families, continue to gain knowledge of the wonderful community we are in, support the educators in delivering quality educational program and practice to the children in our care, and provide a learning space that is safe and completely inclusive
