Hello, my name is Ashlie and I am the Service Manager at Busy Bees at Seaford. I began my career and a primary school teacher before making the switch to early childhood education nearly 10 years ago. I worked for 6 years as a kinder teacher both in NSW and VIC before moving into the director’s role at Seaford Early Learning and Kinder.
As an educator, I believe that children are capable learners and should be given every opportunity to develop their independence and self-help skills, setting them up for future success in life. My role as Service Manager allows me to mentor and support new graduates as they work on becoming competent Early Childhood Teachers and I love encouraging my team to create inclusive, child-led curriculums, supporting the interests of the children and families.
Outside of the Service, I enjoy spending my time reading and sewing. I have a passion for sustainability and am always on the lookout for new eco-friendly ways to help the environment. I believe my experience and enthusiasm for providing quality care for children, combined with the wonderful group of educators at Busy Bees at Seaford, helps to create a “home away from home” for our children where they feel safe, secure and supported.
