Hello, My name is Sandy Kimmins and I am the Service Manager for Busy Bees at Toowoomba Central. I hold my Advanced Diploma in Education and Care as well as my Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. I have been involved in this fantastic sector since 2003 in many capacities from service management to teaching, Educational Leadership and training.
I am extremely passionate about building relationships with families, children and the community as well as providing the highest quality care for all children. I pride myself on providing children with high quality interactions and relationships with their educators and teachers as well as aesthetically pleasing learning environments.
I very much believe in leading a strong culture of growth, gratitude and positivity by providing our Teaching Practitioners with opportunities for learning and professional development and by ensuring achievements are rewarded and recognised.
My family have just moved back to Toowoomba after spending 10 years in Hervey Bay. My husband and I were raised in Toowoomba and we are pleased to be back close to family and friends and back to our roots (although it is a bit chilly!)
Nurturing responsive relationships are our primary focus for our nursery children.
