Although we look quite modest from the street, families are often surprised by our spacious learning environments, dedicated art rooms and welcoming dining room, where progressive mealtimes give siblings and educators from different rooms the chance to reconnect throughout the day.

Children’s curiosity and the sense that every day can become a new adventure inspired my career in early learning, which began in 2004. I love that no two days are the same, with endless opportunities for creativity, discovery and learning. As Educational Leader, I value the different knowledge and strengths each educator brings and how we can draw on these to support children’s learning and development. We truly have a special team at Busy Bees at Aveley, where an open, welcoming and calming environment helps everyone feel at ease. Away from the centre, I’m a mum of seven, and perhaps surprisingly, I used to drive school buses!

Helping people and making someone’s day has always been important to me, and it’s what I love about supporting families at Busy Bees at Aveley. As a mum living far from my own extended family, I understand how valuable it can be to have someone there through life’s changes, from welcoming a new baby to moving house or navigating financial pressures. I believe caring for children is a privilege and that families should leave each day confident that their child is safe, happy and genuinely cared for by a team they can trust. Originally from the UK, I’m a mum of three, a motorsport and cheerleading mum, and love spending time outdoors and camping with my family.
