A safe, caring childcare and preschool for families in Golden Grove.
Hi, I'm Shannen, Centre Director at Busy Bees at Golden Grove. One of the things you'll love most about our centre is the genuine care our team shows every child and family. From the familiar face that welcomes you each day to the way our educators take the time to build meaningful relationships, we have created a homely, welcoming community where everyone feels known, valued and supported.
That same philosophy shapes children's learning. Our educators bring their own talents into the curriculum, delivering yoga, art and language experiences alongside open-ended provocations that spark curiosity, creativity and exploration every day.
We also believe caring extends beyond the classroom. Whether it's preparing a welcome meal for a new family, creating a care package or simply taking the time to listen, we're committed to supporting families in ways that help them feel connected, respected and truly at home.
We would love to help your family with childcare in Golden Grove.

Centre Director
I began my early learning career in 2016 because I wanted to be a strong advocate for children who may not yet have the confidence to speak for themselves. Over time, that passion has grown to include supporting educators to develop a growth mindset and partnering with families to make a meaningful difference in children's lives. At Busy Bees at Golden Grove, I'm proud of the journey our centre has been on and the positive culture we've built together. My goal is for every family to feel heard, valued and respected, knowing they're supported by people who truly care. Outside of work, you'll usually find me reading, gardening, spending time with family and friends, or treating my two dogs to a well-earned pup cup.

Educational Leader
Coaching gymnastics first inspired my passion for supporting children's development and led me to begin my early learning career in 2018. As Educational Leader, I'm driven by the impact I can have on educators who want to grow and learn, knowing that this has a positive flow-on effect for the children in our care. I love the welcoming relationships we've built with our children and families, and the opportunities our location provides to explore the community through exciting excursions. Outside of work, I live on a farm and enjoy taking time for a good self-care ritual.

Family Advocate
My early learning journey began in 2023 when my daughter attended the centre, and I quickly discovered a career I truly love. Even after my daughter started school, I stayed because of the incredible team and sense of community we've built together. Every day brings new challenges, and I enjoy supporting families in different ways while helping our centre run smoothly behind the scenes. One of the things I value most is seeing our team continue to learn, grow and build new skills together. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the gym, caravanning and embracing my small obsession with pineapples.
