Why you will love our centre

Centre Manager

Hi, I'm Kelly, Centre Director at Busy Bees at Greenwood. One of the things you'll love most about our centre is the genuine care our educators show every day. We care not only for every child, but for the whole family, building trusted relationships where children feel safe, supported and truly known.

Children love exploring our beautiful natural outdoor environment, from the wooden gazebo surrounded by established vines to spaces for creativity, discovery and play. Throughout the centre, every culture is celebrated through displays and learning environments that reflect the families in our community.

We're proud of the relationships we build, from proactive communication with families to the small moments of support that make a real difference. Whether it's sharing the highlights of a child's day or checking in when a child is unwell at home, our long-standing educators go above and beyond to help every family feel supported.

Kelly

Centre Director

I began my early learning career straight after school in 2009 and have grown through every role, from Assistant Educator to Centre Director. While I've always loved watching children learn and grow, becoming a parent gave me an even deeper appreciation of the support families need during the early years. I'm passionate about creating a place where children feel safe, confident and happy, while families know they have a team they can lean on. One of the things I love most about Busy Bees at Greenwood is our warm, welcoming team, whose genuine care for children and willingness to go above and beyond for families shines through every day. Outside of work, my two boys keep me busy with soccer, swimming, monster trucks and Transformers.

Educational Leader

I always wanted to be a teacher, and after beginning my early learning journey in 2021, I quickly discovered where I belonged. As Educational Leader, I love being part of each child's learning journey, building strong one-on-one relationships and seeing their faces light up as they grow in confidence, develop new skills and reach important milestones. The warm, supportive relationships we share with children, families and educators are what make Busy Bees at Greenwood so special to me. Before joining early learning, I competed in bodybuilding for more than nine years, an experience that taught me dedication, resilience and the value of setting goals.

Family Advocate

Wanting to become a teacher inspired me to begin my early learning journey in 2021 while my own children were young. I love supporting an environment where children can grow, thrive and feel confident each day, while also helping families feel welcomed and supported. Seeing children develop over time and building relationships with them is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. Outside of work, I've been playing soccer for more than 20 years, only taking a few seasons off when my children were born.
