Hi, I'm Zac, Centre Director at Busy Bees at Gregory Hills. One of the things you'll love most about our centre is the positive new chapter we're creating. Our new leadership team is focused on creating a place where every child feels safe, happy and at home, and every family feels welcomed, valued and supported.
I encourage families to come and see the difference. Children love getting hands-on, from building and creating with real tools to exploring projects inspired by their interests and curiosity. As a large, purpose-built centre, we offer welcoming spaces where children from birth to school age can learn, play and grow.
From the music that greets families as they arrive to the smiling educators and engaged children throughout the centre, we've created a warm environment where children come first. It's a place where children feel they belong and families feel welcome from the moment they arrive.

Centre Director
I began my early learning career in 2014 after discovering a genuine passion for helping children thrive. One belief has guided me throughout my journey: be the adult you wish you had growing up. Every child deserves to feel safe, valued, cared for and know they belong. It’s often the smallest moments, a warm greeting, words of encouragement or celebrating a new achievement, that can make the biggest difference. At Busy Bees at Gregory Hills, I love hearing children excitedly call out, “Good morning Mr Zac!” as they arrive each day. It reminds me we’ve created a place where children feel happy, supported and excited to learn. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me playing rugby league, fishing, reading or spending time with my son.

Educational Leader
I began my early learning journey in 2016 and have worked as an Early Childhood Teacher, Room Leader and Educational Leader across Australia and overseas. I believe the early years lay the foundation for a child’s lifelong learning and wellbeing, and I’m passionate about working alongside educators to create engaging, intentional learning environments. Seeing children excited about learning and supporting educators to bring new ideas to life is what inspires me every day. What I love most about Busy Bees at Gregory Hills is our supportive team and strong sense of community, where educators and families work together to create meaningful experiences for every child. Outside of work, I enjoy camping, reading and creating fun experiences with my two children.

After 25 years as a primary and high school teacher, I began my early learning journey because I wanted to help build the foundations for children's future learning, confidence and wellbeing. Creating positive relationships with children and families is one of the most rewarding parts of my role, and I love being part of a team that shares a commitment to helping every child grow. What I enjoy most about Busy Bees at Gregory Hills is our supportive team culture and the way we work together to encourage children's curiosity, creativity and development. Outside of work, I love travelling, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures, having lived in Papua New Guinea, England and China.
