Hi, I'm Jehan, Centre Director at Busy Bees at Moonee Valley. One of the things you'll love most about our centre is that families consistently tell us they feel most at home here. Originally a family home, our centre has kept that welcoming atmosphere, with a team that takes the time to truly know every child and family, often preparing for children before they begin their early learning journey.
Children are active participants in their local community, with every age group, including babies, enjoying weekly excursions beyond the centre. Back at the centre, our educators combine their strengths to create music, art, yoga and sports experiences shaped by children's interests, voices and ideas.

I began my early learning journey in 2010 as a Certificate lll educator and quickly discovered that supporting children, families and educators was where I was meant to be. While I loved working in the classroom, I realised my passion was creating positive centre cultures where everyone could thrive. I still see myself as an educator first and lead by example every day. At Busy Bees at Moonee Valley, I believe children deserve exciting experiences, educators deserve to feel valued and families deserve to feel connected. Building relationships, listening and making a positive difference in someone’s day is what keeps me passionate. Outside of work, I’m a proud mum who loves staying active, travelling and making memories with family and friends.

I began my early learning journey in 2021, inspired by the opportunity to make a positive difference in children’s lives, support their curiosity and help them develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning from a young age. As Educational Leader, I enjoy mentoring educators, creating inspiring learning environments and working closely with families to ensure every child feels safe, valued and supported. What I love most about Busy Bees at Moonee Valley is working alongside our amazing educators to bring children’s ideas to life through curiosity, family partnerships and reflective practice. Watching both children and educators grow together is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.
