Hi, I'm Jodie, Centre Director at Busy Bees at Trafalgar. One of the things you'll love most about our Trafalgar childcare centre is the way our friendly, supportive team wraps its arms around children and families. We're always available when families need us, creating a place where they feel welcomed, connected and right at home.
Our spacious Dining Room is the heart of the centre, bringing children, families and the community together to celebrate and connect. Parents are always welcome to enjoy a coffee and chat in our dedicated space, because we believe supporting families is just as important as supporting children.
Children develop a love of nature through hands-on sustainability experiences, watching chicks hatch through our Henny Penny program before becoming our 12 much-loved pets. They also grow fresh produce for our kitchen, explore worm farms and composting, and discover the outdoors through Bush Kinder in our natural Bridge Yard.

I began my early learning journey in 1989 and have been privileged to support children and families for more than three decades across a range of early learning settings. What keeps me passionate is meeting new children, watching them grow and celebrating the milestones they achieve along the way. I believe supporting families is just as important as supporting children, and I’m committed to creating a place where every child feels safe, protected and able to reach their full potential. At Busy Bees at Trafalgar, my hope is that every family feels our centre wraps its arms around both children and their families from the moment they join our community. When I’m not at the centre, you’ll usually find me reading a good book or spending time in the garden.

I began my early learning journey in 2013 and have proudly been part of the Busy Bees at Trafalgar community ever since. Inspired by the creativity of Play School, I knew I wanted to help create those same engaging experiences for children. As Educational Leader, what keeps me passionate is watching educators grow and learn and seeing the excitement they share as children in their care reach important milestones. I love that our centre feels like a second home, with wonderful families, dedicated educators and strong relationships at the heart of everything we do. I’m also a proud parent of two children and love spending time with family and friends.

I began my early learning journey in 2006, inspired by the unique way every child learns, grows and develops. Building relationships with children and families is what keeps me passionate every day, and I love helping create a welcoming experience from the moment families walk through our doors. What I love most about Busy Bees at Trafalgar is our wonderful children and families, who make our centre such a special place to be. Away from the centre, I enjoy reformer pilates and pole fitness, which help me stay active and challenge myself in new ways.
