Hi, I'm Renee, Centre Director at Busy Bees early learning and preschool at Tuggerah. One of the things you'll love most about our centre is that we focus on how children feel. Our greatest success is seeing children leave each day happy, connected and excited to share their experiences at home. Families often tell us they feel our calm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk through our doors.
Our homely centre combines a strong and stable leadership team with a close-knit community where children and families are truly known. Children enjoy a beautiful natural outdoor environment, muddy puddles, messy play and child-led excursions that encourage curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.
Conveniently located besides Westfield Tuggerah, our smaller centre has built trusted relationships with local families for more than a decade, creating a place where generations of children have grown, learned and thrived together.

I’ve been working in early learning since 2008, bringing 18 years of experience and a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow and thrive. What began as a search for full-time work quickly became a career I truly love. I’m inspired every day by children’s curiosity, confidence and unique personalities. Watching them explore, ask questions and discover the world around them, while knowing I can play a small part in shaping their future is incredibly rewarding. I also value the strong relationships I’ve built with our children, families, team and wider community. Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends and large family, travelling, going on adventures, discovering new places and trying different foods and restaurants. With four different cultural backgrounds, I have a strong appreciation for different cultures and traditions. I’m also creative and curious, and love exploring new ideas, learning new skills and challenging myself.

I’ve been working in early learning since 2014, bringing 12 years of experience and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in children’s lives. I was drawn to early learning because of the important role we play during such a significant stage of a child’s growth and development. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is building meaningful relationships with children and families and seeing the positive difference these connections can make every day. I especially love the calm, homely atmosphere of our centre and how it creates a warm and welcoming environment for everyone. Outside of work, I love exploring and spending quality time with my family. We especially enjoy heading to the beach together and searching for fish in the rockpools.
