Hi, I’m Jodie, Centre Director of Busy Bees at Westmeadows.
We foster an early learning community that values and celebrates every child. Our educators take the time to build genuine relationships with children and their families, shaping everyday learning experiences around them.
Our childcare centre is located within a restored heritage building that was once the local church. This learning environment, combined with regular excursions into the local community, inspires curiosity and exploration in young children.

Families are a crucial part of our Westmeadows childcare family. From your child’s first day at our centre, you’re welcomed into our community and kept up to date in a variety of ways.
Our educators post daily updates in the Storypark app, which cover the activities your child completes each day and any milestones they achieve. No matter where you are, you’ll remain up to date with what they’ve been learning at our Westmeadows childcare centre.
We love having parents involved in daily life at our Westmeadows kindergarten and daycare. Join us at a centre event or celebration, or book a one-on-one catch-up with your child’s educators to talk about their progress.
Your child’s safety and wellbeing matter more than anything to us. All our educators hold a recognised early childhood qualification, while our centre’s strict security policy keeps everyone safe throughout the day.

“Today I'm passionate about supporting children, families and our wider community while creating opportunities for educators to continue learning and growing.” I began my early learning journey in 2007 and have worked across almost every role before becoming Centre Director. Watching my own children grow and learn inspired my career. My leadership is guided by three simple questions: What's best? What's next? What else? These questions help shape our culture of reflection, collaboration and continuous improvement. What I love most about Busy Bees at Westmeadows is our team culture, where everyone works together with mutual respect to create the very best outcomes for children and families.

“I'm passionate about inspiring high-quality teaching practices and fostering a collaborative team culture.” I began my early learning journey in 2015, inspired by a passion for supporting children's growth, curiosity and wellbeing. Seeing educators grow in confidence while creating engaging, inclusive learning environments for children is incredibly rewarding. What I love most about Busy Bees at Westmeadows is our strong sense of community and belonging. Having worked alongside many of the same educators for more than 10 years, I'm proud of the positive culture we've built together and the meaningful learning experiences we create for children and families.
