Hi, my name is Tim Cantrill and I'm the Service Manager at Springbank Rise by Busy Bees.
I have worked in the Early Education and Care industry for the past 14 years, and have been lucky to experience the industry in many different roles. I have been an Educator, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, Director and Operations Manager. Now, I am so excited to be stepping into the role of Service Manager at Springbank Rise.
Throughout the past 14 years I have been fortunate to have many opportunities that have helped me grow as an Educator. However, when I became a father in 2015 I began to look at the industry and my role as an Educator in a whole new light. Being a father has given me insight and experience that I feel has better equipped me for the role of Service Manager.
I believe the first 5 years of a child’s education are vitally important. I am an advocate for outdoor education, and I believe that children can learn from all aspects of their environments and in everything that they do. I also am a strong believer that each child’s voice is important, and that as Educators we have a lot to learn from children. My educational philosophy includes listening to the ideas and needs of the child, so that we as Educators can better address the issues which are relevant to their ongoing development.
I am looking forward to meeting all of our wonderful Families at Springbank Rise, and building lasting working relationships with all the Families and Educators throughout Busy Bees.
Nurturing responsive relationships are our primary focus for our nursery children.
