Hi, my name is Melissa, but you can call me Mel. I am the proud Service Manager at Busy Bees at O’Connor.
I started my career in the Early Childhood industry back in 2008. Throughout the years, I have played many different roles starting with being an Assistant Educator moving all the way through to working as a region manager, mentoring, educating and guiding 16 different OSHC services. My passion starts with birth and educating children and developing their needs right from the start. I believe the best way to learn and develop is through fun and exciting activities and most of all through play.
In my personal life, I am a mother to my beautiful three year old named Chelsea. I am a dancer and dance competitively and also sing as a hobby. I collect teddy bears and also volunteer my time to support children with additional needs and their Families.
I can't wait to meet you!
Nurturing responsive relationships are our primary focus for our nursery children.
Your child's keen sense of discovery is supported through the creation of fun environments that ignite their curiosities.
Your toddler will be encouraged to explore to build resilience, vital social skills and independence in our purpose built environments.
Teaching Practitioners develop a stimulating approach to learning by supporting the children with an educational program that is challenging, insightful, consultative, giving them a head start as they prepare for school.
