Busy Bees at O’Connor welcomes you with warm and inviting learning spaces that feel like home. At O’Connor, two neighbouring houses have been transformed into a fantastic Early Learning Service where children are nurtured and inspired to play, learn, discover and have fun. The spacious outdoor areas incorporate an extensive art studio with access to a wide range of recycled and natural materials, allowing the children to explore their world through art.
Bonnie Brown is our passionate and experienced Service Manager and has 17 years’ experience in Early Childhood Education and Care. The O’Connor Service is very close to Bonnie’s heart, as her own children attended the Service many years ago. Bonnie is supported by a team of experienced Teaching Practitioners, with the Service offering 73 licensed places for children every day.
Jam packed with challenges for children to play and grow in an innovative and stimulating environment, Busy Bees at O’Connor is a safe place where your child’s individuality can be nurtured by dedicated Teaching Practitioners and Educators.

Hi, my name is Bonnie and I’m the Service Manager of Busy Bees at O’Connor. I am very proud to be a part of the team at O’Connor and to be part of a Service that provides the very best education and care to every child. My own children attended this Service many years ago (they both have their tiles up in the Kindy house) and I have been a part of the O'Connor family ever since. This Service is very close to my heart, and I'm proud to share it with many Families to come.
I have worked within the Early Childhood Education and Care profession for a little over 17 years. During this time I have held various positions including Room Leader, Educational Leader, Centre Director and Service Consultant. I have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
What I love most of all about working in Early Childhood Education is the opportunity to witness the learning and discoveries that children make every day, and the privilege of being part of the incredible journey that is early childhood. Connecting children with nature and nurturing a love and appreciation of the natural world is something I am very passionate about.
Nurturing responsive relationships are our primary focus for our nursery children.
Your child's keen sense of discovery is supported through the creation of fun environments that ignite their curiosities.
Your toddler will be encouraged to explore to build resilience, vital social skills and independence in our purpose built environments.
Teaching Practitioners develop a stimulating approach to learning by supporting the children with an educational program that is challenging, insightful, consultative, giving them a head start as they prepare for school.
