At our child care in Spearwood, we value children as explorers, full of curiosity about themselves, others and their world. Our philosophy focuses on child-led and play-based learning approaches, where we offer children uninterrupted time for play, plenty of freedom, a calm and relaxed environment, cooperative relationships, and our full attention.
You’ll find our child care in Spearwood conveniently located on Rockingham Road, across from the Phoenix Shopping Centre and close to public transport and nearby parks. Our learning spaces invite open-ended interactions, exploration, and connection with nature. We promote an appreciation of the environment with natural and open-ended materials such as water, sand, and wood. We focus on teaching sustainability and respect for the environment through our worm farm, compost, recycling program, and vegetable and herb garden. Children are given the opportunity to extend their learning though the Happy Feet Fitness program on Wednesdays that combines dance, music and the joy of active play (optional paid extra).

Service Manager
Hello, my name is Aleksandra (Ola) and I am the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Spearwood.
I have been in the profession since 2017 and I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. During this time, I have held a number of roles including Assistant Educator, Lead Educator, Educational Leader and 2IC. I started as a student here at our Spearwood day care and I instantly fell in love with it. I have grown so much since I started working with the children and built so many beautiful connections with all the amazing little humans and their families.
A career in early childhood education is very rewarding and allows me to learn from the children every single day. I love how curious, full of joy and eager to learn the children are. I believe that the children are our most important resource and here at Busy Bees at Spearwood, we strive to provide the best possible environment for them to grow and learn. We aspire to create a warm and welcoming environment, where the children and families can feel safe and supported.
In my free time, you can find me at the gym or exploring our local area with my two dogs.
