Hi, my name is Meg and I’m the Service Manager at Busy Bees at The Park.
I have built my career in Early Learning in the ACT and have 30 years’ experience in Early Childhood Education, with 10 years’ experience as a Service Manager. I hold a Certificate III in Childcare, as well as an Advanced Diploma and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
I began my career in Early Learning as an Assistant Educator, where I realised my professional interest in education and becoming an advocate for children. Throughout my professional career I have been fortunate to enjoy a number of leadership roles. Since moving into leadership positions, I have enjoyed 10 years as a Service Manager and more recently as acting Area Manager. I believe every child has the right to feel safe and secure. My professional focus involves providing children with a rich environment where they feel safe to explore, initiate learning, and express themselves.
As a Service Manager, I pride myself on my ability to develop strong working relationships with my Team by providing them with ongoing leadership and mentorship and supporting my fellow colleagues as they complete their studies. I am passionate about advocating for children, Families and the wider Community.
Nurturing responsive relationships are our primary focus for our nursery children.
Your child's keen sense of discovery is supported through the creation of fun environments that ignite their curiosities.
Your toddler will be encouraged to explore to build resilience, vital social skills and independence in our purpose built environments.
Teaching Practitioners develop a stimulating approach to learning by supporting the children with an educational program that is challenging, insightful, consultative, giving them a head start as they prepare for school.
