Busy Bees at The Park welcomes you with beautifully designed open-plan rooms, a dedicated art studio, a dining hall and exciting outdoor environments tailored for each age group — with sandpits, swings, slides, bike tracks, cubby houses, a teepee, a worm farm, and a vegetable and herb garden — where children are encouraged to ignite their sense of curiosity and discovery.
At Busy Bees at The Park, your child will benefit from:
At Busy Bees at The Park, we strive for all children to have an engaging learning environment where they can narragunawali (come together), wagabaliri (play), birrigai (laugh), binyin (discover) and winanggay (learn). Our programs are developed with each child’s interests and needs in mind through a play-based learning approach. We offer a well-balanced structure of indoor and outdoor learning experiences thanks to our beautiful and spacious outdoor environments, small class sizes and dedicated rooms; such as an art studio where children can unleash their creativity and self-expression with open-ended art experiences and recycled materials. Our music room offers the children a multipurpose space to explore and discover the fundamentals of music, movement and rhythm. Jam-packed with challenges for children to play and grow in an innovative and stimulating environment, our day care centre is a safe place where your child’s individuality can be nurtured as they play, learn and grow.
Conveniently located in the heart of Brindabella Business Park, our Canberra childcare centre has been an integral contributor to the Business Park community for many years. We are proud to be a culturally inclusive day care where diversity is valued and the cultural practices of families are supported. Families, staff and the local community are welcomed and encouraged to come together to enrich children’s lives and build a sense of trust, respect and belonging for all. We embed sustainable practices as we value our natural environment and the land upon which we share. The children can watch and care for the needs of our lovely fish at the centre.

Service Manager
Hi, my name is Claire and I am the Service Manager at Busy Bees at The Park. I began working in the Education and Care Sector in 2012 and have held several leadership positions within the Early Childhood and Out of School Hours Care sectors since as a Centre Director, Educational Leader and Early Childhood Teacher. I began my role at Busy Bees at The Park in June 2021.
I have a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary) and am currently studying a Masters in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and Human Resources. I am passionate about leadership in the early childhood sector, providing coaching and mentoring to the team to create a positive workplace culture that focuses on quality improvement.
In the past year, I have enjoyed engaging in a role as a board member for Early Childhood Australia ACT Branch. During this time, I have networked with others in the local community to commit to improving the quality and access of early childhood education. I have also been working on an Action Research project with other professionals through the ‘From the Ground Up’ Leadership Course.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my own family and exploring our beautiful country. I enjoy outdoor activities such as 4WDing in the Brindabellas, mountain biking and hiking.
I am focused on building a strong community at Busy Bees at The Park. I aim to create an inclusive learning community for children, educators, and families. Our team is diverse, and I look forward to learning about and incorporating, a variety of cultural perspectives into our programs. I am particularly committed to Reconciliation and embedding practices within Busy Bees at The Park that honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, cultures, and perspectives.
I hope you choose to join our wonderful community at Busy Bees at The Park, and I look forward to meeting you and your family!
They were welcoming when my son started at the centre and they have been great as he goes through his milestone development.
Thank you for taking the time to make sure I was informed of the level of care that you provide.
As a first time mum, I was very apprehensive about placing our baby girl in day care. However, our 6 month old loves going to day care at Busy Bees and we always get updated on any events that have happened during the day - good and not so good. The manager follows a full disclosure policy which I personally really appreciate. Fully recommend Busy Bees at The Park.
She has had an incredible exposure to many different types of solid foods and has progressed physically so quickly.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Busy Bees Early Learning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
