Centre Director

Hello, my name is Kate, and I’ve been working in early childhood education for 25 years.

I’m passionate about delivering a high-quality service where every child feels a strong sense of belonging and is safe and secure to learn and grow.

I focus on implementing quality programs that inspire children to explore their environment and develop the skills and confidence they need for the world ahead. I value genuine partnerships with families and our community, ensuring families feel heard and supported so we can meet each child’s individual needs.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and two daughters, going to the beach, and embracing big adventures—yes, even skydiving.

I believe that every child is unique and learns at their own pace. Supporting children as they build independence, develop confidence and discover their own abilities is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

As 2IC at Busy Bees at Cameron Grove, I enjoy supporting our educators, children and families to ensure every child’s early learning journey is positive, enriching and full of opportunity.

Outside of the centre, I’m a proud mum of two and love spending weekends exploring, playing sport and enjoying outdoor adventures with my family.

Hello, my name is Patsy, and I’ve been working in early childhood education since 2016.

With over 10 years’ experience as an educator, I’m passionate about supporting children to build new skills, feel a sense of accomplishment and strengthen their wellbeing. I focus on creating meaningful learning experiences that connect with each child’s interests, supporting the development of literacy, numeracy, and social, physical and emotional skills.building and sharing our learning through the Centre Storypark community, so families can feel connected to their child's day and progress.

Outside of work, I enjoy painting and embroidery, and I’m a proud mum of four.

How do I enrol my child at a Busy Bees Centre?

The first step is to tour your preferred Busy Bees childcare centre. This gives you an opportunity to meet our educators, explore our nurturing environment and understand how we can provide an experience that is best suited to your child. After your tour, you’ll receive an enrolment form to secure a spot or join the waitlist.

Do you offer casual or part-time care?

What is included in my child’s care?

We provide what is known as ‘All inclusive care’. This means not only do we educate your child in a nurturing environment, our childcare centres provide meals and beverages, sunscreen, hats, nappy creams and kids Aeroguard for your child. All you need to provide is a spare change of clothes and any specialised products your child requires: medications, milk or formula.

How do you keep parents updated on their child’s progress?

How do you handle parent concerns or feedback?

What medical emergency and security measures do you have in place?

We follow strict emergency protocols and will immediately notify you if your child requires medical attention while contacting a doctor/hospital if required.

We have a First Aid Officer on hand every day at every childcare centre who is first aid and CPR certified, and we conduct regular safety training.

Each of our childcare centres has secure entry and exit systems, child-safe facilities, strict security policies and procedures, and trained staff to ensure your child’s safety at all times.

Since moving our daughter to Busy Bees at Cameron Grove she has absolutely thrived. The educators and admin are great. The day care centre is always very well kept.

The centre is well educated in all rules and regulations (ratios are great), my child is in the BEST care she could possibly be in. A massive bonus that we have not came across in other centres in the 7 years we've had children attending day care, is the technology side of care, the communication and regular updates are absolutely amazing. The educators put their all into each update about your child, which is easily accessible on a app. Although I could keep writing so many reasons as to why I recommend this centre, I do have to end this on another thing... I absolutely love the divine smell of the fresh cooked meals that will fill your child's belly!
