My name is Jessica Lispet and I have been fortunate enough to be working within the Early Childhood sector for the past 7 years as a Bachelor Qualified Early Childhood Teacher. Throughout my time teaching, I have worked with children across all ages between 0 and 5 years of age.
I love working with children and incorporating natural elements into their learning as well as inquiry and science into the room. One of the main goals that I set for my centre is to be known within the local community, to do this, we ensure that we are leaving the centre on excursions regularly, which relates directly to the program and the children’s interests. This is an amazing day of learning, not only for the children but for building confidence within the team.
I have been managing services for the past 2 years and find the leadership side of early childhood challenging but so rewarding. I love that I am able to take my passion for teaching and pass this on to educators within the service to allow them to find their passion within the early childhood field.
I strongly believe in collaborative thinking within a team-based environment and working towards goals that show our commitment to continuous improvement within the centre.
Nurturing responsive relationships are our primary focus for our nursery children.
