Princeton Pre School is proud to announce that, for the second year, we have been selected to participate in the ELSA (Early Learning STEM Australia) National Pilot Program for 2019. ELSA is a play-based digital learning program for children in preschool to explore STEM practices. ELSA allows children to play, experiment and make sense of the world around them.
Princeton Pre School encompasses an innovative approach which is based on the discovery and exploration of respectful relationships with children. We follow this philosophy and offer children uninterrupted time for play, plenty of freedom, a calm and relaxed environment, cooperative relationships, and our full attention. We establish strong links with all children and Families, and our collaborative partnerships with our Families and the broader community allow us to embrace our cultural differences and diversity.
At Princeton, our children are encouraged to become independent learners. We give them the guidance and tools they need to explore their individual strengths and interests, participate in daily tasks, ignite their curiosities, and become confident citizens of their community.
Our learning program is inspired by Montessori teachings and philosophies, and our curriculum draws upon the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) whilst maintaining an awareness of the Australian Curriculum. We offer unique and specialised programs such as Happy Feet, Little Dragons and Italian lessons, while supporting children to explore their individual strengths and interests. We promise our dedicated learning program is jam-packed with unique and stimulating activities you won’t find anywhere else!
Quality Early Learning does more than just prepare children to become eager school students – it builds resilience, vital social skills and independence.

My name is Alison Wade, and I have been the Service Manager at Princeton Pre School since March 2015. I have over 12 years’ experience within the Early Learning sector, working in various roles and levels of management. I hold an Advanced Diploma of Children Services.
As a parent myself, I understand the importance of quality care for children. Each and every day, I endeavour to let the values of excellence and mutual respect guide my practice. It is my desire for all children to be able to reach their full potential to be confident, independent and responsible contributors to society through positive encouragement and guidance, incorporating a sense of community and collaborative partnership with all Families.
At Princeton Pre School we view children as active participants in their own learning journey and provide experiences and opportunities that allow them to build their social competence and sense of agency. Children are naturally curious about their world and enjoy exploring their surroundings. The layout of our Service allows children to explore their surroundings in a safe nurturing environment.
Your toddler will be encouraged to explore to build resilience, vital social skills and independence in our purpose built environments.
Teaching Practitioners develop a stimulating approach to learning by supporting the children with an educational program that is challenging, insightful, consultative, giving them a head start as they prepare for school.
