Jam packed with challenges to play and grow in an innovative and stimulating environment, Busy Bees at Redlynch is a safe place where your child’s individuality can be nurtured by dedicated Teaching Practitioners and Educators.
Busy Bees at Redlynch encompasses an innovative approach which is based on the discovery and exploration of respectful relationships with children. We follow this philosophy and offer children uninterrupted time for play, plenty of freedom, a calm and relaxed environment, cooperative relationships, and our full attention.
We’ve developed the Busy Bees learning program with the help of childcare specialists, curriculum experts and Early Years Advisors at our Centre Support Office.
It’s filled with unique and stimulating activities you won’t find anywhere else! Our Service also partners with Early Learning Languages Australia, a digital, play-based language learning program for Kindergarten Children. This Australian Government initiative inspires children by driving a genuine interest in a new language and culture and we proudly offer Mandarin. We believe that quality early learning does more than just prepare children to become eager school students – it builds resilience, vital social skills and independence.

Hello, my name is Deborah Powell, I currently hold my Diploma in Children’s Services; and I have been fortunate enough to be in the Early Childhood Education and Care Sector for 13 years.
Building strong relationships with families and children are paramount to me. Through these relationships a foundation is formed which supports their ongoing mental and physical wellbeing long after they leave our service. The benefits of high risk low harm learning experiences are highly valued and I believe this is an important emotional and wellbeing starting block in each child’s lifelong learning.
These relationships extend beyond our service and incorporates our Redlynch community partners as well. Our community partner Pioneer North Queensland each year visit our Service with heavy machinery to educate the children around transport and road construction, they also provide the sand for our sandpits. The local Far North Early Childhood Network in partnership with Redlynch State College is also an important partnership that allows us to engage with local schools and other early education professionals.
I believe in continuous improvement through professional development opportunities which keep us up to date with the latest research and knowledge.
Coming from a large family and grass roots I believe providing children with a safe and secure base is paramount to setting children up for lifelong success.
Nurturing responsive relationships are our primary focus for our nursery children.
Your child's keen sense of discovery is supported through the creation of fun environments that ignite their curiosities.
Your toddler will be encouraged to explore to build resilience, vital social skills and independence in our purpose built environments.
Our child-centred approach promotes the development of creativity, individuality and self-confidence with our Adventurers and Investigators.
Teaching Practitioners develop a stimulating approach to learning by supporting the children with an educational program that is challenging, insightful, consultative, giving them a head start as they prepare for school.
