Busy Bees at Springfield Lakes welcomes you with warm and inviting learning spaces and fresh and exciting outdoor play areas full of adventure and discovery. Our play areas have been designed with a focus on providing a natural environment where children can explore, be creative, and develop their motor skills.

With a dedicated team of experienced Educators, Busy Bees at Springfield Lakes offers 75 placements for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

Busy Bees at Springfield Lakes encompasses an innovative approach which is based on the discovery and exploration of respectful relationships with children. We follow this philosophy and offer children uninterrupted time for play, plenty of freedom, a calm and relaxed environment, cooperative relationships, and our full attention.

Service Manager

Andrew Scovell

Hi there, my name is Andrew Scovell and I’m the Service Manager at Busy Bees at Springfield Lakes. I have my Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services and have been working in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector for over 15 years.

I am passionate about childhood development and child safety, and the relationship in which is formed between the Service, Families and the children. Watching children grow, move through the room, learn and meet the milestones in life is extremely rewarding.

My role as the Service Manager at Springfield Lakes is to guide and mentor a professional team of experienced Educators in providing quality care for all the children and Families within the Service.

I have an open door policy with all my Families old, existing and new. Our Service is extremely close and has an amazing community relationship; we’re all one big family. I am extremely proud to be part of this amazing team.


Learning Spaces

Explorers (6 weeks - 2 years)

Nurturing responsive relationships are our primary focus for our nursery children.

Adventurers (15 months - 30 months)

Your toddler will be encouraged to explore to build resilience, vital social skills and independence in our purpose built environments.

Investigators (2 years - 3 years)

Our child-centred approach promotes the development of creativity, individuality and self-confidence with our Investigators.

Collaborators and Researchers (2.5 years - 6 years)

Teachers support children’s keen approach to learning by offering an educational program that is challenging, insightful, consultative and reflects each individual in the classroom.
