Busy Bees at Wellard welcomes you with bright and spacious learning areas, as well as large and natural outdoor play areas where children can play, explore, discover and have fun. The Service provides specialised care for children 8 weeks to 5 years of age.
Tammy Dyer is the appointed Service Manager and has over 20 years’ experience in Early Childhood Education, with 10 of those as Service Manager. Tammy is supported by a team of 26 qualified and passionate Educators, including 2 qualified Early Childhood Teachers.
Tammy is very passionate about animals, and this is something which is reflected at Busy Bees at Wellard. The Service has pet chickens, crazy crabs and a beautiful fish tank. Nurturing animals provides children with a sense of responsibility, love and empathy. Busy Bees at Wellard is a purpose-built Service with 7 learning environments, and an excellent nature play outdoor space.
Inspired by nature play and nurturing Maria Montessori and Reggio Emilia learning approaches, Busy Bees at Wellard incorporates natural learning environments. This guides our interactions with the children and the vast array of activities that we offer.
Our fortnightly curriculum program is focused around play-based learning and providing opportunities for the children to be inspired to engage in both spontaneous and meaningful planned activities which promote and encourage a love for learning.
