Hi, name is Julie and I am the Service Manager at Busy Bees at Banksia Grove. I come from Dublin, Ireland and moved to WA in 2012 with my husband David. I have 2 daughters, Mya who is five years old and Addison who is four years old.
I have been in the Early Childhood and Education sector for over 18 years, 14 of which I have been in management. What I love about working in the Early Years is having an impact on the lives of children, families and educators through my passion for high quality early learning practices. I see children as such capable human beings and knowing that through safe, secure and positive relationships children will be confident and curious to explore, question and challenge the world around them.
The first five years of a child’s life are fundamentally important. They are the foundation that shapes children’s health, happiness, growth, and development. In these years we can create a lifelong love of learning, and we play such a significant role as educators to enhance learning opportunities for children during this time. I look forward to meeting you and building positive relationships with your children.
