Hi My name is Virginie and I am the Service Manager at Busy Bees at Lane Cove. I have had a variety of experience in the teaching sector. I started my career as a primary school teacher 20 years ago and then transitioned into the Early Childhood sector after I had my daughter 12 years ago.
Since then, I have been a dynamic Centre Manager and pride myself on providing an exceeding quality learning environment for my children, families and Educators. I hold a Bachelor of Teaching and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and I specialise in coordinating, supervising and managing a Service including its operations in accordance with the current requirements of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations at an Exceeding level. I have led teams of Educators to achieve the Exceeding levels of the NQS in 2017 and 2020; the latter being in all the seven quality areas of the NQS.
I am now looking forward to continuing sharing my knowledge, experience and expertise with you all at Busy Bees.
My philosophy is versed in the socio-cultural theory that sees development as an interactive process where all participants have an important place. I strive to provide to the children, the families and the educators an environment and relationships that promote a community of learners that would contribute to a successful society.
I am looking forward to meeting you all and please do not hesitate to come and say hello!
