Busy Bees at Amaroo welcomes you with architecturally designed learning spaces and beautiful outdoor environments — with sandpits, a climbing fort, a vegetable and herb garden, a mud kitchen and lots of natural elements — where children are encouraged to ignite their sense of curiosity and discovery.
At Busy Bees at Amaroo, your child will benefit from:
‘Amaroo’ means ‘a beautiful place’ in Nyoongar and here at Busy Bees at Amaroo we want to create an early childhood and care setting that is a beautiful place to be, learn and thrive. Our Educators believe that a beautiful place is somewhere to feel safe and accepted; a place where one can take risks and belong. We view children as being confident learners and capable humans with rights. We recognise that families and people within the lives of the children in our care are their first teachers. We build strong, respectful relationships through caregiving rhythms and with the children in our care. We encourage families to join us as we support their children’s learning journey and, together, provide the best start in life.
We are proud to be a culturally inclusive day care where diversity is valued and the cultural practices of families are supported — greetings of many languages are being taught through each classroom. We focus on teaching sustainability and respect for the environment through our vegetable garden and loose parts station. The children can observe and care for the needs of our three fish, Bullseye, Chips and Nuggets, as they can greet them in the mornings and afternoons.
Our child care setting is inundated with community connections. We are privileged to be positioned across the road from a shopping centre and a school. This connection to the community brings an array of learning opportunities including visitors, volunteers, and insight into the diverse cultures and perspectives within our local community. When children and families join us at Busy Bees at Amaroo, they are welcomed into the broader community of Amaroo.
We would love to have you join our Busy Bees family at Amaroo. We look forward to meeting your family! Book your tour today.
Service Manager
Hello, my name is Marie Tame and I am the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Amaroo. I’ve been a part of the Busy Bees family since 2017, previously working at Busy Bees at The Park.
I am passionate about Early Childhood Education and believe in providing children with opportunities to learn and grow into themselves. I actively encourage self-expression and look for opportunities to build this concept into the learning experiences. I have been spotted dressed up and in character more than once!
I am committed to helping build a community that is respectful and cares for each other. I want our families to know and feel confident they are supported, understood and valued as partners in their children’s learning and development.
My daughter would run up and hug her educators, I was chopped liver!
They are all incredible, loving, and caring, and your child will be loved and my daughter has learnt so much from them. We were blown away.
My son has loved everyone of the educators he has been with. He has learned so much and have made fabulous friends. Its a wonderful daycare and I would definitely recommend it to others.
Great support for parent's entering the sphere of childcare. The staff are amazing and the food prepared for the kids in A+. Highly recommended.
They welcome every child with a smile so that the mood of the kid becomes very good and they want to stay there.
Everyday my child learn new thing and he does the same thing at home, it’s very impressive. They give a good knowledge to kids. And this is the time kids grab everything so if they grab this type of knowledge I hope they can grow with a amazing talent. Thank you all.
I can drop him off in the morning and walk away knowing he will be loved and cared for there by the beautiful staff.
The hardest part of our move will definitely be saying goodbye to their friends and teachers who have provided such excellent care over our time here. You will all be dearly missed and thanks for the memories.
