Partnering for Child Safety

At Busy Bees, our mantra of giving children the ‘best start in life’ is more than just words. Through our partnership with Bravehearts, we want to make Australia the safest place to raise a child.

The Busy Bees and Bravehearts partnership are built on a shared vision of empowering children and families, ensuring every child can grow up safe, happy and healthy, giving every child the best start in life!

Each year, our Centres across Australia get involved and show their support of Bravehearts to raise awareness and empower our families and communities to protect children. Supporting Bravehearts while focusing on child protection training and children’s wellbeing within our Centres enables Busy Bees to continue our commitment to provide the best possible environments for children to learn, grow and thrive.

Bravehearts supported the launch of our sector-leading interactive Child Protection and Safeguarding learning program completed by all Busy Bees employees on commencement and annually. They further support us with resources and strategies for best-practice programming, prevention and safe environments.

Our children have the opportunity to enjoy Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure Show, which teaches children personal safety skills and knowledge by using age-appropriate language, song and dance.

Bravehearts Day unites Australians against the crime of child sexual abuse, raising awareness and funds to educate, empower and protect our children!

Busy Bees is proud to be a sponsor and matched giving partner of Bravehearts Day, held on Friday 6 September 2024 and invite you to help us #BeBrave and raise funds for this important cause.

By getting involved in Bravehearts Day, every Busy Bees Centre across Australia including our Busy Bees teams, families and children are taking an active role in the prevention of child sexual abuse — a crime experienced by 1 in 4 children.

Funds raised for Bravehearts Day go towards supporting the delivery and continual improvement of Bravehearts’ personal safety education and child protection training programs, counselling and support services and research.
