At Busy Bees at Armstrong Creek, your child will benefit from:
At Busy Bees at Armstrong Creek, children will develop their imagination and creativity, their knowledge, independent thinking skills and sense of wonder through exploring their own ideas and interests. They are supported in this pursuit by a team of warm, nurturing, professional educators. This learning is facilitated in an environment that is friendly, homely, secure and inviting, rich with experiences and adventures.
We believe that our programs foster children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for discovery and learning, and cultivate learning-to-learn habits. Early childhood is not a time to emphasize learning achievement and competitiveness among children; it is a time to foster positive values about learning and to build a strong developmental foundation for a healthy, happy life.
Our funded Kindergarten program is led by Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers who are committed to getting your child ready for their next big steps in school. We work in partnership with you to make their transition to school successful. Our child-led curriculum is designed to build confident and active learners, using a holistic approach to education that combines school readiness with learning experiences that foster your child’s social and emotional development.

Service Manager
Hi, my name is Dani Turnley and I’m the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Armstrong Creek.
I have been a part of Busy Bees at Armstrong Creek for 7 years, starting as a student to then gaining a position as an Assistant Educator in 2015. I then stepped into a Room Leader position for 3 years, and for 6 months I also was the service Educational Leader. I’ve had the privilege of stepping into the Administration Officer for 2 years, before becoming the Centre Director. Building relationships with team members, families, and the wider community is the favourite part of my job. Seeing not only the children, but their wonderful Educators grow and progress is a highlight.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exploring new restaurants, yoga, and walking my dog.
Assistant Service Manager
Hi, my name is Tegan Saliaris and I am a part of the administration and 2IC team at Armstrong Creek.
I have been a part of Busy Bees Early Learning for over 8 years, where I started as an assistant at our Belmont service before stepping into a room leading position. I then had the opportunity of moving over to our Armstrong Creek service to help with the start-up of this before stepping into a Directing role in 2019.
In February 2022, I welcomed my first little one and then returned to Armstrong Creek in a part time admin/2IC role.
Outside of work, I love making memories with my family and dog, going away camping and hanging out with friends!
In the spirit of reconciliation, Busy Bees Early Learning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
