Busy Bees at Baldivis South welcomes you with warm and nurturing learning environments and two nature-inspired playgrounds — with sandpits, slides, cubby houses, balancing logs, rope traverse, bike track and vegetable gardens — where children are encouraged to ignite their sense of curiosity and discovery.
At Busy Bees at Baldivis South, your child will benefit from:
At our Baldivis daycare, our philosophy focuses on the Reggio Emilia Approach, which values children as strong, capable, and resilient learners with an abundance of wonder. Our child-led learning program offers children uninterrupted time for play, plenty of freedom, a calm and relaxed environment, cooperative relationships, and our full attention. We believe the learning environments act as the ‘third teacher’ encouraging children to investigate and use their imagination and creativity through play. We promote an appreciation of the environment with natural and open-ended materials such as water, sand, and wood.
Our Baldivis daycare centre is a community within a community, where we foster collaborative partnerships with families and children. We encourage families to participate in our calendar of cultural programs and events. These acts empower children to build their self-esteem and promotes culture as an inclusive practice.
Our Baldivis South Kindergarten program is led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher who is committed to getting your child set for their next big steps in school. We work in partnership with you to make their transition to school successful. Our quality learning programs are designed to build resilience, vital social skills and independence, while preparing children with all the essentials they need to take their next big steps in school and life.

Service Manager
Hello, my name is Danielle Coustas and I’m the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Baldivis South. I have almost 10 years of experience in Early Childhood, and I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else.
Since I started in the early childhood industry while completing my Certificate III, I knew that Early Childhood would be a lifelong career and passion of mine. I then continued my studies onto my Diploma and gained experience in various roles including Room Leader, Educational Leader, Assistant Service Manager and now Service Manager.
As an Educator, I am passionate about providing quality education and care. I believe all children are individuals and are entitled to a warm, caring, and safe environment but one that is also stimulating, fun and educational.
As a Service Manager, I strive to create a calm, welcoming and clean environment that is based on relationships of trust, harmony, and love with educators, families, and children.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my family in which my daughter and dogs keep me very busy. I love being outdoors — going for hikes or to the beach — and cooking and baking.
Assistant Service Manager
Hi, my name is Lucy and I am the Assistant Service Manager of Busy Bees at Baldivis South.
I work in the Adventurers room as the Lead Educator, as well as the Assistant Service Manager. I love being able to work alongside every child — watching them grow, learn and develop every day.
In my role as an educator, it’s my goal is to ensure a safe, warm and welcoming environment for children, families and staff. I focus on building a safe and secure environment to help every child’s learning potential flourish throughout their learning journey here at Busy Bees at Baldivis South.
The facilities are lovely, the outside play area is all new and lots for the children to explore, and the indoor activities are always fun and educational.
I especially love that the app is updated daily with the photos of the day and the schedule for the upcoming weeks. The educators are phenomenal — my daughter loves them and they her, which makes it so comforting leaving her there knowing she is being so well taken care of and treated as if she were their own.
She loves visiting the staff when we go to pick up my youngest. All the staff are lovely and welcoming.
After my son had problems with separation anxiety at other centres, he has overcome this now after a month of being in Busy Bees at Baldivis South.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Busy Bees Early Learning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
