Hi, I’m Carrie and I’ve had the privilege of working in early childhood since 2002.
Busy Bees offers childcare in Banksia Grove Village that recognises, values and supports children through the earliest stages of their development.
By exploring indoor and outdoor learning environments, children are encouraged to develop a love of learning, exploring and creating.

“I still feel privileged to be part of such an important stage in a child's life.” Growing up surrounded by children through my mum's childminding business inspired my career in early learning, which began in 2002. Forming strong partnerships with families and being part of each child's learning journey continues to inspire me every day. As both a Centre Director and a mum of four, I lead with the same care and high standards I'd want for my own children. I love that our smaller centre allows us to build genuine relationships with every child and family. Originally from the UK, my family and I spent two years travelling around Australia before making it our home.

“I love that our smaller centre allows us to build meaningful relationships with every child and family, creating a true home away from home.” Working in Outside School Hours Care first sparked my passion for early learning, but once I made the switch to long day care, I knew I'd found where I wanted to be. Since beginning my early learning career in 2024, I've loved making a positive impact on children's education and wellbeing from an early age, helping set them up for success later in life. As Educational Leader, I enjoy working with children and educators to create a safe, educationally rich environment where everyone can thrive. Outside work, you'll find me playing the ukulele or caring for my frangipani farm.
