Service Manager
Hi, my name is Tess Barry and I have been fortunate enough to be in this wonderful Early Childhood Education and Care Sector for 33 years. Families and children are paramount to me, and the relationships we forge are warm and nurturing. Watching children grow and reach their developmental milestones brings me so much joy and inspiration.
I believe in continuous improvement through professional development opportunities which keep us up to date with the latest research and knowledge. I have a thorough knowledge surrounding the Government National Quality Framework and was extremely proud to lead my previous centre to exceed in all 7 quality areas and then achieve the same result here at Busy Bees at Burpengary East with exceeding in all 7 quality areas. I have established numerous, rich and meaningful relationships with community partners and I firmly believe in the saying “It takes a village to raise a child”.
Assistant Service Manager
Hi, my name is Jess Chiementon and I am the 2IC of Busy Bees at Burpengary East. I have been in the Early Education and Care Sector for the past 10 years.
Building meaning relationships with families and children is imperative for children to have a smooth and successful transition into the centre and gives a sense of security allowing families to feel at ease when leaving their children in our care. Observing children reach their developmental milestones brings me such joy. Over the years, my passion for Early Years Education has grown to wanting to coach and mentor new educators with my experience and knowledge. This has led me to the 2IC position at Busy Bees at Burpengary East, where I am fortunate enough to work alongside some phenomenal and knowledgeable leaders.
I am so thankful for the educators for making this transition so smooth for me.
I've always felt comfortable leaving the girls with the staff as they are so warm, welcoming and definitely care about the children.
