Hi, I'm Aimee, Centre Director at Busy Bees at Campbelltown. One of the things I love most about our centre is seeing the strong sense of belonging that develops when children learn, grow and explore together.

Every day, our educators create opportunities for children to build meaningful relationships, develop confidence and learn from one another. Through shared experiences across age groups, children naturally develop empathy, leadership skills and a genuine sense of community. It's wonderful to see younger children learning from older peers, while older children gain confidence by guiding and supporting others.

Our team is passionate about creating child-led learning environments that encourage curiosity, independence and discovery. Whether children are exploring our monthly gardening experiences, engaging with nature or following their own interests through play, we support them to become active participants in their learning journey.

For us, it's incredibly rewarding to watch children develop confidence, build lasting friendships and discover their place within a community where they feel safe, valued and connected.

Aimee Mathai

Centre Director

Hi, I'm Aimee and I have 16 years experience in early childhood education. I am passionate about fostering children's life long learning, and partnering with families as their children grow and develop within their early childhood years. I am proud of facilitating opportunities for learning and growth across the sector, embedding a steadfast approach to educator development and children's education. Outside of work, I am a mother of two wonderful daughters. I am continually growing my knowledge in early childhood and how we can embed First Nations perspectives, acknowledge children requiring additional support, and ensure each family is seen and heard The thing I love most about Busy Bees at Campbelltown is we have such a rich and tight knit community, which we are so lucky to be thriving in.

How do I enrol my child at a Busy Bees Centre?

The first step is to tour your preferred Busy Bees childcare centre. This gives you an opportunity to meet our educators, explore our nurturing environment and understand how we can provide an experience that is best suited to your child. After your tour, you’ll receive an enrolment form to secure a spot or join the waitlist.

Do you offer casual or part-time care?

What is included in my child’s care?

We provide what is known as ‘All inclusive care’. This means not only do we educate your child in a nurturing environment, our childcare centres provide meals and beverages, sunscreen, hats, nappy creams and kids Aeroguard for your child. All you need to provide is a spare change of clothes and any specialised products your child requires: medications, milk or formula.

How do you keep parents updated on their child’s progress?

How do you handle parent concerns or feedback?

You and your child’s experience are our main priority. We encourage open communication and are always happy to discuss any concerns or suggestions directly or anonymously using our Parent feedback form. The Service Manager at each of our childcare centres is the person you can liaise with in the first instance.

What medical emergency and security measures do you have in place?

We follow strict emergency protocols and will immediately notify you if your child requires medical attention while contacting a doctor/hospital if required.

We have a First Aid Officer on hand every day at every childcare centre who is first aid and CPR certified, and we conduct regular safety training.

Each of our childcare centres has secure entry and exit systems, child-safe facilities, strict security policies and procedures, and trained staff to ensure your child’s safety at all times.
