Service Manager
Hi, my name is Dimity Sheather and I am the Service Manager of Springbank Rise by Busy Bees.
I began working at Springbank Rise by Busy Bees in 2017, starting as a Trainee Educator, working across all age groups, completing my Certificate III in Early Education and Care, then going on to complete my Diploma in Early Education and Care. Since completing my Diploma, I have worked as a Room Leader, then stepped up into the Assistant Manager position. I am excited to be taking on the Service Manager position in 2022.
I believe that the first 5 years of a child’s life are vitally important for learning and development, and I am dedicated to providing a high level of education and care for all children who attend Springbank Rise by Busy Bees, to build a strong sense of identity, self-confidence and to encourage a love for learning.
I will be leading a passionate team, who shares the same beliefs and dedication to fostering and nurturing the development of children in the first 5 years of life. We focus on outdoor and nature play—in our newly renovated yards—community engagement, inviting families and the wider community to come along on our learning journeys, as well as child-led learning experiences/ engagement, allowing children to use their creativity to further develop their current skills and knowledge.
Assistant Service Manager
Hi, my name is Adrianne and I am the Assistant Service Manager of Springbank Rise by Busy Bees.
By the time my youngest child started school I had developed a passion and interest in Child Development and together with my love of children I decided to follow my heart into the Early Childhood Sector.
I have worked in the Early Childhood Industry for many years and in those years, I have worked across all rooms and ages as an Assistant Educator before receiving my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
My favourite part about being an Educator is that I get to follow my passion for educating and nurturing young children and mentoring other Educators along the way. I believe in providing a safe and secure environment for all children, families, and Educators. I enjoy building responsive, positive and nurturing relationships with each child in my care and developing positive relationships with their families. I strongly believe that when a child feels comfortable and safe, they become confident to explore, learn and grow.
During my spare time, I love to be outdoors in the garden, travelling, and spending time with my family and fur babies.
It’s a wonderful centre with caring and friendly staff who make a real effort to get to know your family.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Busy Bees Early Learning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community.
