Service Manager
Hi, my name is Jennifer Bell and I’m the Service Manager for Busy Bees at Chinchilla. I started with the service in 2011 and have since been involved in many different roles, taking over as Service Manager over six years ago. I have 20 years of Early Childhood experience working in rural communities, regional towns, mobile services, and even studying in Reggio Emilia, Italy, before I joined the team at Chinchilla.
I believe in building strong community and family connections to create the best outcomes for our children. As a parent of my own young children, this is one of my most important values. I believe that strong communication is at the core of providing high quality Care for children and families, and we strive to make it a core part of our Service.
The team of passionate educators we’ve created at Chinchilla is what I believe is my biggest strength. As a Service Manager, I strive to continuously grow, challenge and connect with each and every member of the team. Together, we make sure that the needs of every stakeholder within our Service are met, so we can continue to provide play, joy and positive learning outcomes.
Assistant Service Manager
Hello there! My name is Eryn Magner and I am the Assistant Service Manager with Busy Bees at Chinchilla.
My journey into Early Childhood Learning started in 2021. I come from a strong Customer Support and Management background, and recognised that I have always had a strong passion for the importance of education for children. I initially started off as Administration Support for our Centre, as well as an Educator for our rooms. I quickly discovered that I had a passion for the inner workings of the Service and how it all runs. After a few short months with Busy Bees at Chinchilla, I decided I would love the opportunity to take on the role of 2IC!
I believe that having meaningful connections and building bonds with not only the children, but also our families, is the core building blocks for what we do. Busy Bees at Chinchilla has a strong connection with our local community and continues to strive to not only build this but create new opportunities.
During my time with Busy Bees at Chinchilla, I have been privileged to work with a wonderfully diverse range of children and Educators. Our Service has amazing facilities and I am most proud of our Barnyard space. It allows the children to connect with the world around them and practice caring for others.
I have been lucky enough to go on my own journey of becoming a parent and this has further advanced my passion, empathy for the parent’s experiences and dedication to providing the best possible outcomes for all children.
Although I am not originally a local to Chinchilla, becoming a part of the team with Busy Bees at Chinchilla has made me feel at home and I strive to ensure every child and their family feels this way when at our Service.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Busy Bees Early Learning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
