Service Manager
Hello, my name is Alicia Conti and I am the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Craigieburn.
I have been working in the childcare sector for 12 years and have been at Busy Bees at Craigieburn since December 2018. I hold a diploma in early childhood education, and I am continuously learning and upskilling various personal developments that are related to children’s services.
I strongly believe that each child develops their own unique knowledge, culture, beliefs, learning styles and values when given the right tools to help them succeed. I thrive in building strong relationships with families, educators, and children — I love to know the children are in a safe, secure, and supported environment.
At Busy Bees at Craigieburn, we believe our care, quality, service, and value are at the highest standards. We are building on our community with connections to our local fire, police, library, and local businesses. We also love our families to come in and do an array of engaging activities with the children.
I look forward to getting to know your family.
Assistant Service Manager
Hello, my name is Kayla Williamson, and I am the 2IC of Busy Bees at Craigieburn.
I have been in the childcare sector for 12 years and have been at Busy Bees at Craigieburn since April 2019. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I am married and have two beautiful children who also attend our centre.
I have knowledge and experience working with different age groups and believe children need to feel safe and secure in their environments.
I love to create and maintain relationships with the children and their families, to make all feel welcome in the centre, and to help them feel a sense of belonging and become confident learners.
I am looking forward to meeting you and your family.
I have found the centre to be inclusive, engaging and welcoming. Thank you to the staff for all you do every day, it does not go unnoticed.
Even the setups are amazing. The management team are always greeting you with a smile.
They are obsessed with their educators! They come home in routine and happy (they sleep best on the nights after being at day care). They no longer cry when I leave them (they attended an alternative day care for 12 months before moving to Busy Bees and cried the moment we entered the car park) as they LOVE the team and are always included even if they don’t attend on the days where events or special things are happening. THANKS TEAM! You certainly have the Merjan family tick of approval!
In the spirit of reconciliation, Busy Bees Early Learning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
