Service Manager (Acting)
Hello, my name is Jess Pedemont and I am the Service Manager (Acting) of Peter Pan Early Learning by Busy Bees.
I have 17 years of experience in in the early childhood sector and school aged care sector; 10 of those years I have been a director. I have my Diploma in Children’s Services and have recently enrolled to complete my Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Teaching. I have always been passionate about children’s education and have wanted to work with children from a very young age. I hope to provide every child in my care with a welcoming and happy environment led by happy and content educators who nurture and support them on their learning journey.
I have two little boys and we love to explore around Canberra on the weekends, as well as cooking and baking in the kitchen as much as we can.
Assistant Service Manager
Hello, my name is Hannah Spain and I am the Assistant Service Manager at Peter Pan Early Learning by Busy Bees.
I am currently studying my Bachelor in Early Childhood and Primary Education. I began working at Peter Pan Early Learning by Busy Bees in 2016 for my Australian School-Based Apprenticeship and fell in love with the sector. I love watching children grow and learn as they attend our Service and building relationships with the children and their families to support every child’s development.
I believe in building relationships with children to help the child feel safe, secure, and supported every time they come to care. My favourite thing about this day care centre is the close partnerships with each family and how involved in every family’s life we are.
They are well looked after by the lovely staff here and they all go above and beyond for the children.
The staff are amazingly attentive to the children, while also managing to provide regular updates on activities and routines.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Busy Bees Early Learning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
