Assistant Service Manager
Hi, my name is Sarah Went and I am the Service Manager at Peter Pan Early Learning by Busy Bees. I am studying my Bachelor of Education (ECT).
I am passionate about providing high quality care and education for children within the Service through safe and engaging learning spaces that have been created from the children’s interests. I believe in building respectful and reciprocal relationships with children and Families to nurture a child’s growth and development.
I believe that the first five years of a child’s life are vitally important to fostering a life-long love of learning, building confidence and the child’s self-identity throughout these years. In a child’s life, learning is happening all the time which is why it is crucial for a child to have options and opportunity for continuous learning based on their interests.
I like to work closely with the community around the Service and the Families to provide an experience that ensures the child has a strong sense of belonging to the world around them. Ensuring that all cultures, values, abilities and voices are included, respected and used in planning for and creating the best path of care and education for all children.
I look forward to meeting new Families and children here at Peter Pan Early Learning by Busy Bees.
Assistant Service Manager
Hello, my name is Hannah Spain and I am the Assistant Service Manager at Peter Pan Early Learning by Busy Bees.
I am currently studying my Bachelor in Early Childhood and Primary Education. I began working at Peter Pan Early Learning by Busy Bees in 2016 for my Australian School-Based Apprenticeship and fell in love with the sector. I love watching children grow and learn as they attend our Service and building relationships with the children and their families to support every child’s development.
I believe in building relationships with children to help the child feel safe, secure, and supported every time they come to care. My favourite thing about this day care centre is the close partnerships with each family and how involved in every family’s life we are.
