Vicki Kerr

My name is Vicki Kerr and I'm the Service Manager at Busy Bees at Gympie. I have enjoyed working in the field of early education and care for 20 years. I completed my Advanced Diploma whilst working and raising a family, obtaining my final qualification in 2010. I have worked in across all roles within an Early Learning Service.

I believe in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, with plenty of opportunities to grow and learn. I believe that children have a right to be heard and valued, and encourage this in our Service through the discovery and exploration of respectful relationships.

Forming a reciprocal open relationship with families is paramount to establishing a collaborative, respectful partnership in providing high quality care for children.

Explorers (6 weeks - 15 months)

Nurturing responsive relationships are our primary focus for our nursery children.

Discoverers (15 months - 2 years)

Your child's keen sense of discovery is supported through the creation of fun environments that ignite their curiosities.

Adventurers (2 years - 3 years)

Your toddler will be encouraged to explore to build resilience, vital social skills and independence in our purpose built environments.

Collaborators (3 years - 4 years)

Our child-centred approach promotes the development of creativity, individuality and self-confidence with our Collaborators.

Researchers (4 years - 5 years)

Teaching Practitioners develop a stimulating approach to learning by supporting the children with an educational program that is challenging, insightful, consultative, giving them a head start as they prepare for school.
