Busy Bees at Gympie welcomes you with warm and inviting learning spaces and large, natural outdoor play areas — with sandpits, slides, a bike track, a cubby house, vegetable and herb garden, compost, and chickens — where children are encouraged to ignite their sense of curiosity and discovery.
At Busy Bees at Gympie your child will benefit from:
Our Gympie childcare is proud to have strong collaborative relationships with our families, children and the community. We offer a child-led and play-based curriculum that gives children uninterrupted time for play, plenty of freedom, a calm and relaxed environment, cooperative relationships, and our full attention.
At our Gympie childcare, you’ll be welcomed with our complimentary parent’s breakfast bar to get you through the busy morning routine. The children can interact and care for the needs of our pet chickens by collecting food scraps, feeding them, and collecting the eggs. We focus on teaching sustainability and respect for the environment through our vegetable and herb garden, compost and saving our food scraps for our pet chickens.
Our Gympie Kindergarten program is led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher who is committed to getting your child set for their next big steps in school. We work in partnership with you to make their transition to school successful. Our quality learning programs are designed to build resilience, vital social skills and independence, while preparing children with all the essentials they need to take their next big steps in school and life.
We would love to have you join our Busy Bees family at Gympie. We look forward to meeting your family! Book your tour today.

Service Manager
Hello! My name is Isabou or Miss Izzy, and I’m the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Gympie.
With 10 years of experience in the field, I have cultivated a deep love for nurturing and supporting the growth of children and educators.
My journey in childcare began with studying for a Diploma in Children’s Services, the joy and fulfillment I found in caring for and guiding children inspired me to pursue a career in early childhood education. My Diploma in Children’s Services has equipped me with a solid foundation in child development, pedagogy, and effective management practices. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse groups of children across different age ranges, from infants to state school age.
I strive to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children, families and educators can thrive. I am deeply committed to providing high-quality early childhood education that promotes not only academic growth but also social-emotional development. I strongly believe in the power of play, creativity, and hands-on learning experiences to ignite children’s curiosity and foster a lifelong love for learning.
Above all, I am genuinely dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. Seeing the joy, progress, and growth in the children I work with brings me immense fulfillment and fuels my unwavering commitment to excellence.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Busy Bees Early Learning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
