At Busy Bees on Maroochy, your child will benefit from:

  • Quality early learning for children aged birth to five years
  • Nutritionally balanced meals prepared daily by our on-site chef
  • Rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standards – our team of qualified Educators and Teaching Practitioners go above and beyond to provide rich and meaningful learning experiences to children aged 0-5, that set the foundation for lifelong learning
  • Warm and approachable team of longstanding Educators who build lasting relationships with children and families. Many of our Educators have been with the Service for 5, 10, and 15+ years – some even attended the service as children themselves!
  • We are a community-focused service and regularly encourage children and families to get involved in charitable giving with local organisations such as CAYAC and Share the Dignity, as well as involvement in fundraising for Red Nose Day and White Balloon Day. Children are encouraged to become empathetic and socially responsible citizens.
  • Herb and veggie garden that involves children in daily watering and caring for our growing plants. Children learn about where food comes from and the journey from farm to plate, as well as fostering respect for our environment.
  • Inclusion Support Program for kindergarten-aged children with additional needs. Our service is committed to inclusive practices and working with families to reduce barriers to inclusion for all children.
  • Our kindergarten children are offered opportunities to visit our sister service, Busy Bees on Maroochydore, to interact with our animals, explore our spacious gardens and support their social development.

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac on Denna St, Busy Bees on Maroochy offers children a serene and natural environment full of rich sensory experiences and opportunities for learning. Our leafy and spacious outdoor setting features a timber fort, sandpit and beautifully planted areas where children are encouraged to ignite their curiosities and sense of discovery.

The Educators, Teaching Practitioners and staff at Busy Bees on Maroochy have developed lasting relationships with the children and families in their care, and continue to form a solid foundation for the service built on support, longevity and trust. We even have an Educator who attended the service as a child themselves!

My name is Natasha Sullivan and I am the Service Manager at Busy Bees on Maroochy and Busy Bees at Maroochydore. I have been in the childcare industry now for 23 years on the Sunshine Coast.

I am a mother of two beautiful girls that I cherish as my little miracles. My passion in Early Childhood is all around the early learning and experiences for children creating a brighter future for them and smooth transitions to formal schooling.

My passion as a Service Manager is delivering not just learning within the service, but also within the local community for all children. This ensures children have an understanding of not just the service they are in but their world around them within their local community. As they say “It takes a village to raise a child.”

One of my proudest achievements was becoming a finalist for Professional Business Woman of the Year, Sunshine Coast, which was an amazing experience thus far and supported me in building the importance of Early Learning with in the Sunshine Coast and more.

I look forward to meeting you and can’t wait to be a part of your children’s learning journey.
