Located in Mirrabooka, our Stirling childcare centre incorporates Montessori teachings and practices, such as a flowing open-door program, child-led learning, and a well-being program designed for children. Our play-based learning approach gives children uninterrupted time for play, a calm and relaxed environment, plenty of freedom for children to choose their resources, small group time, messy play and nature play. Our nurturing early learning Educators strive to develop children’s self-confidence, self-esteem and independence. Our Mirrabooka childcare centre has a strong focus on sustainability and respect for the environment through our dedicated Green Team, vegetable garden, worm farm, compost, and loose parts play.
We are proud to be a multicultural and inclusive day care in Mirrabooka that values and celebrates the diversity of cultures, values, beliefs, abilities and learning styles. We form strong collaborative partnerships with our families and value their input and ideas to build a solid foundation between home and day care. We explore cultural differences through our calendar of cultural events to develop an appreciation of different cultural heritages. The children are given the opportunity to extend their learning through French language lessons on Mondays and the Happy Feet Fitness program on Wednesdays that combines dance, music and the joy of active play (optional paid extra). Service Manager
Hi, my name is Claire and I am the Service Manager for Busy Bees at Mirrabooka.
I have worked in the sector for 13 years with several of those years in a management position. I hold my Diploma in Children’s Services and pride myself on making meaningful relationships with families, children and Educators.
I believe children learn best through play and are capable of whatever they put their minds to. I am excited to be a part of a team of experienced Educators to provide the best learning and opportunities for our children.
In my free time you can often find me kicking around a soccer ball with my 7-year-old son.
Assistant Service Manager
Hi, my name is Aimee and I am the 2IC of Busy Bees at Mirrabooka. I have been working at our wonderful Service for over 13 years.
I hold my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have been a proud Educator for many years. I have had extensive experience in a variety of roles in the sector with many being a part of the Leadership team.
I am very passionate about ensuring we create a safe, loving and nurturing environment for all of the children and provide them with the very best learning opportunities.
I am a mother of three young children myself and enjoy spending time with my family, going swimming, and hosting events and parties.
I look forward to meeting you and your family.
