Service Manager
Hi, my name is Jessica Riedi and I’m the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Mt Lawley North.
My journey in education began with a degree in secondary teaching, which opened the doors to a fulfilling career. Since 2017, I’ve been passionately involved in early childhood education, starting as an educator and rising to the role of manager. My vision for education emphasises a holistic approach to early learning that nurtures not only academic growth but emotional and social development.
Beyond the classroom, I’m deeply fascinated by the beauty of nature, committed to a healthy lifestyle through fitness, and I cherish the bonds of friendship and social engagement in my life.
Assistant Service Manager
Hello, my name is Shulin Liang and I am the Assistant Service Manager of Busy Bees at Mt Lawley North.
I hail from China, with a journey that’s taken me from the world of engineering to a newfound passion for education and children’s health. The past four years, I’ve dedicated myself to the childcare industry. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and have served as a Lead Educator and now 2IC.
Beyond my professional life, I enjoy music and movies, which provide me with an escape into the worlds of sound and storytelling.
The educators show genuine care for all the kids, and a real interest in their development, approaching each individually to cater to their specific personalities. They are great at communicating not just issues (e.g. illness) but also day to day activities. My kids often don't want to leave at the end of the day, and that is the sign of a fantastic childcare centre. Keep it up, Busy Bees at Mt Lawley North team!
We will be very sad when it is finally time to say good bye to our son's Busy Bees family.
The communication with the educators is fantastic. They will message us to let us know how our little girl is doing if she was in any way off that morning or I was concerned about her at drop off (recovering from illness, etc.) and that contact and ease of contact goes so far. We love the team there and will be so sad to leave when it’s time for full time school. Thank you Busy Bees for providing a centre where we know our girl is safe, happy and oh so cared for.
The most important thing for me is the educator team at the centre and so far I have been happy with every single one of the staff members. Everyone is so friendly and caring towards the families and children that I’m always confident that my child will get the best care possible. They also have a beautiful outdoor area which they utilise a lot and I appreciate that as my son loves being outdoors. Great job to all the educators there, we love you.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Busy Bees Early Learning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
