At Busy Bees at New Lambton your child will benefit from:
Busy Bees at New Lambton encompasses an innovative approach based on the discovery and exploration of respectful relationships with children. We follow this philosophy and offer children uninterrupted time for play, plenty of freedom, a calm and relaxed environment, cooperative relationships, and our full attention. We believe this promotes the development of secure attachments which are important for children’s well-being and development.
Quality early learning does more than just prepare children to become eager school students — it builds resilience, vital social skills and independence. We understand children learn to respect and care for the environment in which they live and learn when educators model these values. We value practices that create a sustainable future. We support children as active citizens and we understand that children learn to respect and care for the environment in which they live and learn when educators model these values.
We’ve developed the Busy Bees learning program with the help of childcare specialists, curriculum experts and Early Years Advisors at our National Support Centre. It’s filled with unique and stimulating activities you won’t find anywhere else!

Service Manager (Acting)
Hi, my name is Savannah Nielsen and I am the Acting Service Manager of Busy Bees at New Lambton. I started my career in Early Learning as a trainee in 2013, before beginning with Busy Bees in Western Australia in 2015. I became the 2IC at our New Lambton day care in 2018. The same year, I completed my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I proudly became the Service Manager in 2023.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with amazing educators who have assisted me in further developing my knowledge, skills and understanding as an educator. I have also worked closely and cohesively with families to better enhance their child’s education. I have experience incorporating inclusive practices into classrooms and daily routines; working with children with challenging behaviours; and implementing experiences to further develop children’s learning and development.
Throughout my journey in Early Childhood Education and Care, I have had the undying support from my partner and 2-year-old son.
I very much look forward to meeting your family.
Our girl is the socialite of every situation she is in, she's loud, on the move and only being 8 months old, both my husband and I can't thank the centre and educators enough for all her development milestones.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Busy Bees Early Learning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
