At Busy Bees at Oxley, we provide a nurturing and safe environment for children as they grow and develop through their first 5 years. Situated on a quiet street right next door to a Nature Reserve, our Service offers places for 108 children in a lovely peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle.
Our driven and vibrant Service Manager, Sarah Power, brings 20 years of experience to the Service. Supported by a team of 29 qualified Educators, the Service is a fun and educational space where every child can thrive.
We believe that quality early learning does more than just prepare children for school – it builds resilience, vital social skills and independence. That’s why we have developed a learning program with the perfect balance of education and play that encourages children to learn, have fun, and build confidence as they try new things and make amazing new discoveries.
We provide an innovative approach which is based on the discovery and exploration of respectful relationships with children. We offer children uninterrupted time for play, plenty of freedom, a calm and relaxed environment, cooperative relationships, and our full attention.
We follow this philosophy by nurturing every child’s individuality, ensuring that Busy Bees is a place where every child can thrive.

We can’t wait to welcome you to our Busy Bees family at Oxley. Contact our team to book a tour of our Service today.
Hi, my name is Victoria (but you can call me Tori) and I am the Service Manager at Busy Bees at Oxley. I have been working in the Early Childhood Industry for the last eight years, predominately for a not-for-profit organisation, where I was able to work my way through all roles in the business to then lead the team as the Service Director for over two years.
I am extremely passionate about providing quality care and education during children’s first five years of life, and believe it is extremely important to advocate for their voices to always be heard. As a Service Manager, I strive to build strong relationships with children, families and staff members at Busy Bees on Oxley and the broader community.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking and baking for friends and family, exploring the outdoor Canberra region, and attempting (and failing at) any new trending D.I.Y craft I’ve seen throughout the week.
I can’t wait to meet you!
