Service Manager
Hello, my name is Leanne Canteri and I am the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Redlynch.
My career in Early Childhood Education started when my children were in Preschool and my journey to where I am today has been incredibly rewarding. Watching children take their first step, the smiles on their faces, and the pride they express enriches my days as an Early Childhood professional.
I understand the importance of creating an environment where every child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential, and this is a journey that we as Educators travel alongside families. Family and community shape our children’s young minds and here at Busy Bees at Redlynch, our children have the opportunity to engage with our community and broaden their understanding of the world in which they live.
I have a special interest in additional needs and have extensive experience in this area. I have a passion for music and movement, and you will often see me alongside the children dancing and rocking to the beat.
Busy Bees at Redlynch is not just a childcare service; it is a community with a strong connection to our natural environment, where every child is empowered to be themselves, share their voice and achieve. We welcome you to experience all we have to offer.
Assistant Service Manager
Hi, my name is Rachael Burnie and I’m the Assistant Service Manager of Busy Bees at Redlynch.
I started my career as a Trainee in Early Childhood before moving on to complete my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Working across the Centre in varying roles provided me with invaluable growth and professional development. My professional background includes roles in hospitality and tourism, and I draw on this experience in my role as Assistant Service Manager.
I have traveled extensively throughout Australia and various parts of the world. Outside of work, I like spending time in nature: camping, hiking and surfing. I’m also a qualified yoga instructor, enjoy a holistic lifestyle, and love to cook for my family and friends.
We were greeted by the lovely Service Manager who toured us around, what I would call a 'haven', full of happy children and endless learning opportunities. We were quick to join the Busy Bees at Redlynch community and were instantly satisfied by the services provided by the staff members — who always seek to go above and beyond. Thank you Busy Bees at Redlynch for welcoming our family with open arms.
I have always felt welcomed and like I could ask questions. My daughter loves her days at Busy Bees and there are always so many great activities. The space itself is beautiful, clean and the outdoor play area is wonderful! Water play, sandpit, large outdoor area with lots of shade. Highly recommend.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Busy Bees Early Learning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
