Busy Bees at Heritage Parc features beautifully designed open plan rooms and a spacious outdoor setting that is positioned serenely lakeside, with designated play spaces and sandpits nestled amongst a natural setting where children are encouraged to ignite their curiosities and sense of discovery.
Conveniently located in the heart of Heritage Parc on Grand Parade, the Service was developed to ensure that children are being provided with exciting opportunities and challenges for them to play and grow in an innovative and stimulating environment where their individuality can be nurtured by dedicated educators.
Busy Bees at Heritage Parc encompasses an innovative approach that is based on the discovery and exploration of respectful relationships with children. We follow this philosophy and offer children uninterrupted time for play, plenty of freedom, a calm and relaxed environment, cooperative relationships, and our full attention.
Our funded Kindergarten program is led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher who is committed to getting your child ready for their next big steps in school. We work in partnership with you to make their transition to school successful. Our child-led curriculum is designed to build confident and active learners, using a holistic approach to education that combines school readiness with learning experiences that foster your child’s social and emotional development.
We’ve developed the Busy Bees learning program with the help of childcare specialists, curriculum experts and Early Years Advisors at our Centre Support Office.

Service Manager
Hi, my name is Jessika Axisa and I am the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Heritage Parc. I have worked in the Early Childhood and Care Sector for over 10 years.
As an Educator, I believe that all children should be provided with a secure base that enables them to explore and grow as individuals, whilst feeling safe and knowing they are able to return to their secure base.
I believe that Early Childhood Education and Care provides children with the best start to life and supports the first stages of a child’s development. From birth children begin to develop secure relationships and show interest in their surroundings. Children should be provided with an environment that challenges, and supports their learning and development.
As a Service Manager, I believe in supporting my team and allowing them to grow as Educators. I encourage them to have an open mindset to change, as this sector is constantly evolving, to ensure we are always providing children with the best quality care and practice.
When I am not at Busy Bees, you will find me playing Soccer and League Tag. I enjoy family time and moments to myself working on my car.
Assistant Service Manager
Hello, my name is Shelley and I am the 2IC for Busy Bees at Heritage Parc. I have been working in the Childcare sector for over 12 years holding my Diploma. During this time, I have had experience in being Lead Educator and 2IC at one of our sister centres.
I have wanted to work with children for as long as I can remember. My Kindergarten teacher has always been my idol and inspiration for helping children learn and grow into their own unique individual.
I believe each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, nurturing and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow to their full potential. Children are the future of our world—they need all the support, care and guidance to help them learn and develop, whilst exploring and discovering a world of new opportunities and possibilities.
I believe communication and a bond with families is important as it demonstrates that I have the child’s best interests at heart and by having a parent’s trust in me in makes for a happy and safe environment.
A bit about me, I have been married for 7 years and have a beautiful 1 year old daughter. When I’m not at our Hive you’ll find me camping and adventuring off-road.
Finally the educators and other staff are exceptional. They treat your child like their own, they are invested in their growth and development, and each day is jam packed with fun educational activities. I have seen how much my daughter has grown in both education and maturity. I could not more highly recommend Busy Bees at Heritage Parc!
