Hi, I'm Rachel, the Centre Director of Busy Bees at Scarborough.

What makes our centre particularly special is our personalised approach to care and learning. Whether it's supporting children through room transitions when they are socially and emotionally ready, tailoring routines to individual needs, or helping children build confidence and independence in preparation for school, we take the time to understand what works best for every child.

Families also appreciate the consistency of our team. By rostering educators on the same shifts each week, children build strong relationships with familiar faces and parents enjoy the reassurance of knowing who will be there each day.

Hi, I’m Rachel. I’m the Centre Director at Busy Bees Scarborough and have worked as an Early Childhood Teacher since 2015. I’m passionate about creating a safe, welcoming environment where children feel valued, supported and encouraged to thrive through meaningful play-based learning experiences. I believe strong, respectful relationships with children, families and educators are at the heart of creating a connected and inclusive community. My goal is for every family to feel confident that their child is safe, happy and genuinely cared for while developing a lifelong love of learning. How do I enrol my child at a Busy Bees Centre?

The first step is to tour your preferred Busy Bees childcare centre. This gives you an opportunity to meet our educators, explore our nurturing environment and understand how we can provide an experience that is best suited to your child. After your tour, you’ll receive an enrolment form to secure a spot or join the waitlist.

Do you offer casual or part-time care?

What is included in my child’s care?

We provide what is known as ‘All inclusive care’. This means not only do we educate your child in a nurturing environment, our childcare centres provide meals and beverages, sunscreen, hats, nappy creams and kids Aeroguard for your child. All you need to provide is a spare change of clothes and any specialised products your child requires: medications, milk or formula.

How do you keep parents updated on their child’s progress?

How do you handle parent concerns or feedback?

You and your child’s experience are our main priority. We encourage open communication and are always happy to discuss any concerns or suggestions directly or anonymously using our Parent feedback form. The Service Manager at each of our childcare centres is the person you can liaise with in the first instance.

What medical emergency and security measures do you have in place?

We follow strict emergency protocols and will immediately notify you if your child requires medical attention while contacting a doctor/hospital if required.

We have a First Aid Officer on hand every day at every childcare centre who is first aid and CPR certified, and we conduct regular safety training.

Each of our childcare centres has secure entry and exit systems, child-safe facilities, strict security policies and procedures, and trained staff to ensure your child’s safety at all times.
