At Busy Bees daycare in Scarborough, our philosophy focuses on the discovery and exploration of respectful relationships with children. Conveniently located in the beachside community of Scarborough, you’ll find our daycare situated just off Scarborough Beach Road and only a 5-minute drive from Scarborough Beach. We focus on teaching sustainability and respect for the environment through our sustainability area outside the Kindy room. We encourage loose parts play, nature play and the use of recycled materials. We love to share the produce from our herb garden and worm farm with our families.
Our Transition to School program is led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher who is committed to getting your child set for their next big steps in school. We work in partnership with you to make their transition to school successful. Our quality learning programs are designed to build resilience, vital social skills and independence, while preparing children with all the essentials they need to take their next big steps in school and life.

Hi there, my name is Ann Febers and I am the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Scarborough.
With a deep-rooted passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their growth, I am proud to introduce myself as a dedicated professional with two decades of experience in the Early Years sector. For 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of owning and operating childcare centres, where I’ve had the opportunity to impact the lives of countless children and their families.
My journey in the world of childcare began with a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. Over the years, I’ve honed my expertise in child development, early education, and management, creating spaces where children can thrive and explore their full potential.
My mission has always been to promote a holistic approach to early childhood education, one that emphasises not only cognitive development but also social, emotional, and physical growth. I believe in the power of a caring and dedicated team to create a supportive and enriching environment for children, and I’ve been fortunate to work alongside many passionate educators who share this vision.
Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed the incredible impact quality early childhood education can have on children’s lives, setting the foundation for their future success. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of your child and the broader community.
