Service Manager
Welcome, my name is Natasha, and I am the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Smithfield Plains.
I have worked in childcare education for the last 23 years. I started working in OSHC and vacation care whilst finishing my Diploma in Children’s Services. Since then, I have been a Team Leader, Curriculum Leader, Early Childhood Teacher, and now Service Manager. My passion for quality early childhood education drives me to succeed in providing an environment for children to flourish and develop.
I honestly believe that exceptional Educators are led and guided by management, and I want to be the person that assists my coworkers with their learning. I listen to their needs and support them to obtain the information and tools required to help the families in our community.
I strongly believe family is everything and I love spending time with all my family. I especially love watching my children involved in their passions including my son playing footy and watching my daughter dance.
Assistant Service Manager
Hi, my name is Andrea and I’m the Assistant Manager of Busy Bees at Smithfield Plains.
I have worked in the Early Childhood Sector for 25 years. During that time, I’ve gained extensive experience in many areas of early education and care including Team Leader, Educational Leader and Managerial roles. I thoroughly enjoy the many aspects of our profession, including the relationships with families and children, the connection with our community, and continuing to enrich my knowledge and skills through professional development.
My many years working with children and young people has helped me enhance my communication skills, knowledge of early childhood development and the many services evident in our community to support children. I thrive on helping families and young people. I believe I demonstrate the skills and knowledge to work collaboratively with families to ensure they receive the best possible care while enrolled in our centre.
I am a mother of three children. Having my own family has helped me develop many strategies to best support families with compassion, empathy and kindness. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, travelling and reading. My formative years were spent in rural South Australia, where I was fortunate enough to develop my interest in nature, the outdoors, and animals with my extended family and friends. This interest has extended into my adult years and into my professional career in the Early Childhood Sector, where I help young minds develop an interest in the wonder and beauty of nature.
Plus, what he is eating and how much, as well as sleep records. You feel so involved and you have no doubt that they are being looked after well. Anyone who asks, I will 100% recommend this childcare every time.
They keep you informed and never make you feel like the constant checking in is a hassle. My child loves this day care and I love how much he has grown and developed with their help. It truly feels like a little family where even the educators from other rooms will know you and your child on a first name basis. I'm so glad I chose Busy Bees.
