Service Manager
Hi, my name is Samantha De Leo and I am the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Woolloongabba East.
Having grown up in Sydney, I moved to beautiful Queensland 9 years ago and have since gotten married and we have a little boy — Luca — who will be turning 2-years-old in December. After high school, I completed my Certificate III in Children’s Services followed by my Diploma in Children’s Services. I then went on to complete my Bachelor of Teaching degree.
I have been in the industry for over 15 years with a 5-year break managing retail stores. Over the years of working in the industry, I have had the pleasure and loved watching the children grow and develop and become their own individual selves. Even to this day, I am still in contact with some of the families from 10 years ago, and I have had the opportunity to see their children grow over the years.
I believe in creating an environment where the children feel safe and secure, and supporting their learning and development in a fun and happy way. Providing a healthy and happy work environment where all staff and families feel included and valued is important to me and is a part of my personal and management philosophy.
Everyone is lovely and they all seem happy to be there — staff and children. The rooms are well equipped and the playground is second to none. By far the best childcare centre in Brisbane South!
The educators and reception are lovely and I'm kept up to date about absolutely everything that happens during the day. I couldn't of found a better day care centre for my child.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Busy Bees Early Learning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
