Follyfoot Farm Juniors by Busy Bees provides children with an enriched learning environment, saturated in experiences that promote maximum growth for each child in its beautiful natural surroundings. Our purpose-built Service in Fountaindale caters for children from 0-3 years, with our original Follyfoot Farm by Busy Bees, located next door, catering exclusively for children aged 3-5 years. Both Services provide the same high quality education and care, with a shared vision and philosophy.
Sarah Morrison is the appointed Service Managers at Follyfoot Farm Juniors by Busy Bees. Sarah is supported by a team of 50 Teaching Practitioners and Educators across both Follyfoot Farm and Follyfoot Farm Juniors, offering a total of 187 spaces for children. Located in a very pretty tree-lined rural road, the Services are situated on three lush acres with easy access to local residents and commuters travelling along Enterprise Dr, Fountaindale. We are licensed to operate 5 days a week for 52 weeks a year.
At Follyfoot Farm Juniors, a passionate team of Educators come together to create a Service environment that emphasises values of respect, kindness, empathy and connection. These values are primarily fostered through access to our unique farmyard setting.
The children are offered opportunities to feed our animals and help look after their habitats on a daily basis. It is considered important that all children are provided the opportunity to participate in the care of the service animals and the platform this provides for developing their social awareness is limitless.
At Follyfoot Farm Juniors we recognise that it’s not just about caring for the animals, but caring for their habitats also. The children at our Service help to maintain the animals homes and enclosures, and as they do so they are learning about the impact human activity has on the natural world. This is an important value to embed in young children, it is the crux of sustainability. What better way to impart such a value than caring for animals and the spaces within which they live?
The responsibility which is placed on the children to help care for and maintain the animals and their environments, allows the children to develop a sense of autonomy. They are learning skills which promote independence. This expectation also encourages a sense of ownership over the service community which builds confidence and belonging to the environment.

Service Manager
As a child I always knew I wanted to work with young children. My dream became a reality the day I walked through the doors of Follyfoot Farm as an early childhood educator when I was eighteen years old. I have been with Follyfoot Farm for over 19 years’ and the passion and love I have for my job continues to grow.
After completing my Diploma in Childhood teaching in 2017, I was soon given the opportunity to work alongside the Service Manager of Follyfoot Farm as 2IC. This opportunity has allowed me to continue to care and nurture our beautiful Follyfoot Farm Families from an administrative position, as well as being actively involved with the everyday care within the Service. It had also allowed me to create a holistic and diverse working environment for my colleagues, and Families.
Follyfoot Farm is my second home and I have loved watching how it has evolved and grown over the years. Seeing children I once cared for now working alongside me at Follyfoot Farm makes me smile.
We are so blessed to have such an incredible outdoor environment that allows the children to be completely involved in all it has to offer. Some of my favourite memories have been made here, and shared with some of the most beautiful children and Families.
I am blessed by being a mum to two babies, my now 11 year twins Remi and Darci.
Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends as well as my 4 fur babies.
We have a dedicated and passionate team who put their hearts and soul into their jobs every day. I am proud to manage such a diverse, inclusive and caring team.
I endeavour to ensure quality care and education of children for many years to come and welcome you to visit us here at Follyfoot Farm Juniors.
I would not hesitate to recommend the care and facilities provided. We are proud to be part of the Follyfoot Farm family.
Their operational procedures and policies are second to none, giving me confidence that my children are always safe and well looked after. The incredible little farm, massive playground and delicious home cooked meal are all just the icing to the cake of this premium service.
One of the deciding factors for us in deciding which day care centre to choose, was the farm. We love that our children can have access to the farm life right here on the Central Coast.
The educators and manager have been so very supportive to the children and I. They have always eased my mind when the children have needed extra TLC for various reasons and especially when my babies first started there and I had natural ‘mummy anxiety’ when I returned to work. The staff were always happy to receive my calls and let me know what a lovely day the kids were having. The centre sends videos, photos and curriculum updates letting me know how the children develop as they learn and play at the centre. Both children have made beautiful friendships with both peers and educators, and Follyfoot Farm has always been a happy safe place for them. I highly recommend this service.
Having the kids at Follyfoot Farm made going back to work so much easier on me. I knew they were benefiting on so many levels but also that they were surrounded by love.
The staff are so welcoming and both my children and I have established lasting friendships with the staff far beyond the front gate — I call them our 2nd family. They are genuine, caring and dedicated educators with beautiful hearts. There is such a humbling community spirit within the walls of the centre. The farm is an extraordinary learning environment in conjunction with their sustainability initiatives, animal foster programs and dedicated outdoor hands on learning. This is an early education centre like no other. We are so fortunate to have been a part of the Follyfoot Farm family. Highly recommend every single aspect without hesitation!
The educators follow all my requests with his sleep and eating to ensure he stays in his routine we have at home. He loves going to school, it’s the cutest!
