At Busy Bees at Briar Hill, our philosophy focuses on the discovery and exploration of respectful relationships with children. We consider young children to be capable agents in their learning and strive to collaborate with them and our families to reach common goals. We follow this philosophy and offer children uninterrupted time for play, plenty of freedom, a calm and relaxed environment, cooperative relationships, and our full attention.
Our Briar Hill daycare provides a nurturing home-like environment where children are encouraged to play, learn, explore and unleash their curiosity. Our team of multicultural Educators work in partnership with families to deliver quality early learning programs tailored to their individual needs. We focus on teaching sustainability and respect for the environment through our compost and vegetable garden. Children are given the opportunity to extend their learning through the Happy Feet Fitness program that combines dance, music and the joy of active play (optional paid extra).
Our Briar Hill kinder is led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher who is committed to getting your child set for their next big steps in school. We work in partnership with you and the local schools to make their transition successful. Service Manager
Hello, my name is Michelle and I am the Service Manager at Busy Bees at Briar Hill. I’ve worked in Early Childhood Education for five years. As an Educator, I believe that we play an incredibly important role in developing children’s passions for discovery and learning. I have a passion for providing children with opportunities to engage in play which is interesting, aesthetically pleasing, and inclusive and child directed. I’m extremely enthusiastic about providing children with a variety of opportunities and hope that all our families feel welcomed, included and engaged in our setting.
We are a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to building trusting relationships with all our families and working in partnership with the local community to ensure high quality care for all children. I’m a strong believer that young children learn through play, by having fun, experimenting and exploring their world.
